Pursuant to Indiana Code 5-11-1-27(g), after June 30, 2016 all Indiana political subdivisions must have their own local policy regarding Internal Controls and ensure that personnel receive training on Internal Controls.
Aviation Indiana members who would like more information may want to participate in the AIC’s upcoming class.
Join us on Tuesday, May 17 for the AIC Institute class on Internal Controls. Beginning July 1, 2016, there are new requirements that local units must comply with for internal controls. This class will review those requirements and give guidelines for how best to be in compliance. Hear from expert speakers from Crowe Horwath: Tim Berry, Scott Nickerson, and Brandon Reed.
Registration is now open and you can attend the class 3 different ways via attending in person, logging into a live webinar from your own office, or watching the recorded webinar at a later time. The registration fee remains $60 for either version.
