The Monroe County Airport desires a highly qualified candidate to fill the Assistant Airport Manager / Operations position in Bloomington, Indiana. Bloomington is home to the world-famous Indiana University of the Big Ten Conference and hosts a plethora of dining, entertainment, and outdoor activities.
This position is responsible for oversight of the Airport’s FAA Part 139 program, ARFF, airfield operations, building, and airfield maintenance. The role reports directly to the Airport Director and supervises the Airport’s Operations & Maintenance Personnel. Cellphone, laptop, and vehicle provided.

Jasper County Airport Authority
The Jasper County Airport Authority (JCAA) is seeking qualified applicants to serve full-time as the Airport Manager of Jasper County Airport (RZL), which is located equidistant between Chicago and Indianapolis at the doorstep of Northwest Indiana. The Airport Manager is responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, administration, and development of the Airport in accordance with Federal, State, and local regulations.
The ideal candidate will: (1) possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation/Airport Management, Public Administration, Business, or a closely-related field; (2) have prior experience in aviation/airport management and/or operations; (3) be a licensed pilot, flight or ground instructor; (4) be able to teach high school aviation curriculum; and (5) be familiar with FAA and INDOT policies and procedures pertaining to airport operations.
